What music selections do you bring to an event?
Before every event we ask each client for their specific songs/style of music they would like played, we have over 10,000 selections as we constantly update our music library. We make our music library available to all clients prior to the event, and if we don't have a particular song, we'll have it before the event, as long as it's been released to the market. We have OLDIES, MOTOWN, ROCK AND ROLL, 70'S & 80'S TOP HITS, SOUL, REGGAE, REMIX, ALONG WITH CURRENT TOP HITS.

What kind of equipment is used?
All equipment used is at the professional level (state of the art), with back-up equipment on site for every event.

Will the DJ also be the Master of Ceremonies (EMCEE) ?
Yes, We are trained in all aspects of Master of Ceremonies and will coordinate events if needed.

Are there any contracts involved when hiring a Disc Jockey?
Yes, all Professional Disc jockeys provide a written contract that is reviewed with clients. This covers the agreed upon services, and it protects both partys for securing the event.

How do you set your time periods?
Depending on the event, time periods are typically 3-5 hours in length. Anything over is calculated in increments of 30 minutes @ $50.00 per 1/2hr Overtime. All this is covered when reviewing the contract.

What is your policy regarding attire for events?
Tuxedos are usually worn to formal events such as weddings, Holiday Party's etc., unless requested otherwise. We are professionals, so it's important for us to always dress appropriately for each event.

When can we expect arrival of the DJ?
It is our policy to arrive at least one hour before the event is scheduled to start. This is setup time which is at no charge to you.

How will the DJ know the order of events?
After we meet, review the event, agree on the contract, we issue our client a password to our online planner. This gives the client the ability to use planning work sheets, list requested music, and can make any changes 24/7 up until 2 weeks prior to the event. We are automaticlly notified of all changes imediately, so we are always up to date with our clients needs. NOTE: We will always help in the process if and when needed.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, this is covered in the contract.

Do you require a deposit to secure the date?
Yes, there is a deposit required; this takes place during the signing of the contract, which blocks off the date/time/location of the event. It's very difficult to set a price without knowing the type of event. We do charge extremely low rates compared to other Disc Jockeys, this you'll experience during our conversations.

What are your policies regarding gratuities?
We have no policies. Gratuities are a good faith gesture if you are overly satisfied with the outcome of the event, so gratuities are not required.

Why are some DJs priced lower than others?
"High Energy Entertainment" is owned and operated by the Disc Jockeys who will be performing at your event. We have no overhead, we produce/promote our own advertisements/promotions, and we are the only individuals that you'll be dealing with to provide 1 on 1 service for your event. This savings is passed on to the customer.

Can our guests make song requests?
Yes, we always provide request materials at the DJ stand if pre-approved by client.

Will you make announcements if requested?
Yes, we are set-up with mics to make any special announcements/dedications as long as the host is agreeable prior to the event.

What's an "Interactive Disc Jockey"?
This is a Disc Jockey who can energize the guests, get them out on the dance floor, demonstrate energy through interaction, and performs what is called "Party Magic".
